Wild Saturday Night

We are pretty out of control in the Huffman household!  Last Saturday night, we went to a little snow festival in town (where they have snow makers to play in the white stuff we NEVER see in south TX) and it was WAY too crowded.  People get EXCITED about snow around here :)  So we decided to ditch the festival and make our own fun.

Mammaw and Pappaw sent sweet Valentines in the mail and included $5 for each kid with instructions to spend it however they wanted.  So Annabelle decided that The Dollar Tree would be the best bang for their bucks.

We spent probably an hour in there making sure they both got the perfect purchases.  They loved it!  Seeing what they finally decided on was really interesting.  Harris was really funny because he was just bewildered that he actually got to take the stuff home - plus, he kept looking all over the store for Mammaw and Pappaw - he knew the stuff was from them, but didn't really understand why they weren't there.

Here's what they picked:

Harris got a sports balloon, a football, a bat and ball combo, a soccer ball night light, and a mickey mouse puzzle.

Annabelle picked a headband/wig thingy, glittery fake fingernails, ring pops, princess rings for the days of the week, and silly string.
