Harris is 5 Months Old!!

I'm a little late this month, but here is my BIG 5 month old....

We've had lots of firsts this month:  1st rice cereal, 1st haircut, 1st vacation (Disney World :), 1st sickness, 1st stay at a condo, 1st time in a high chair at a restaurant, 1st boat ride, 1st time in a swimming pool...we've been busy!  He has also changed his demeanor a little this month.  He's become lots more vocal (sometimes so loud that we've had to leave several restaurants!), and a little more high maintanence, too!  That might have something to do with his Daddy carrying him around Disney World for a week in a Snugli.  Here's what they looked like all week:

I told Brad that he could not go back to work - he had to stay home and carry Harris around all day!  We've had a few more tears this month when somethings not exactly how he thinks it should be...he's starting to voice his opinion a little more!  For example, this is one of the pictures I took today while trying to get one for the 5 month post...he was NOT excited!!

But we've also had lots more smiles, happy cooing, and little giggles.  The happy times always out-weigh the hard ones - and for that, we are very thankful!  His sister is still his favorite person on earth...he searches for her in a room when he hears her voice and completely lights up when she pays attention to him.  She's SUCH a great big sister!

He's still a VERY big boy...yesterday, he weighed 19 pounds, 15 ounces.  He is a CHUNK!!  But such a snuggly chunk :)
