I know I've written several times about our friends, the Fletchers. Even though we only lived in the same city for 7 months, that was enough to form a friendship that will certainly last a lifetime! After they moved, we made a standing reservation to spend the 4th of July together, if at all possible. And even though we live 20 hours apart right now (they're in Savannah), we were able to keep the tradition alive this year! It has become such a sacred time for us. Cherish and I talk almost daily, but getting to love on their kids and spend even just an extended weekend of un-interrupted Fletcher time is just priceless. This year, we met at Jeremy's grandfather's house in Baton Rouge and it just couldn't have been more fun! All we did was sit in the pool and eat lots and lots of delicious food. I think my favorite moment was one night after all the kids were in bed, the 4 of us got back in the pool and just talked and laughed til the wee hours of the morning. It was perfect!! (Until the babies got up at regular time the next day!)

Next year there will be a new baby boy to add in! Harris will love having a new little playmate! (Please excuse Harris in this pic - he had just gotten in MAJOR trouble for running away from Brad toward a very busy street. Bless his little heart!)
