Tonight at bathtime, I realized that Annabelle knows how to spell her name - all by herself - in sign language!! She's been very curious about sign language lately - I think she saw it on Sesame Street or something - so we've been doing the alphabet every now and then. I've spelled her name with her maybe 3 times over the past 2 weeks. And low and behold if it didn't stick! I couldn't believe it! All that arguing with Brad about her name being too long for nothing! I knew she'd be able to learn to spell it - even in different languages!!

that is awesome...i love sign language..i have a deaf friend and its something i really enjoy learning
