Top Ten

For the past 2 weeks, we've been in Arkansas visiting family and taking care of my momma who had knee replacement surgery.  Before that, we spent the weekend in Dallas with Uncle Chad, Aunt Julie, and Cousin Mabry.  It was a great trip!  There are many reasons that Annabelle begs to go to Arkansas, but here are the top ten from this trip:

10.  There is lots of wildlife just out the back door.

You can chase ducks on the golf course

Or play with "Slo" the turtle under the carport.

9.  They have the BEST sno-cones that are fun to get on hot afternoons. (no pictures, but GEEZ! I would gain 45 pounds if I lived near the Sno Ball. The Dreamsicle with extra cream....A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!)

8.  You can sit on a blanket in Grandmomma's backyard and enjoy the best fireworks show in south AR.

7.  You can sit on picnic blankets and enjoy the shade.

6.  You can do lots of swimming.

5.  There are lots of fun toys and soft blankets to enjoy.

4. You can take Pappaw Darrell's golf cart on a joyride around the golf course or to the pool next door. (Annabelle got to drive it all by herself. That would have been a good video to have!)

3.  You can take care of your family while they are in the hospital.

2.  You can do fun stuff with our many, many grandparents that live there.

Like read books,

(I don't know how I didn't get a picture of this with Mammaw - she read Annabelle her night-night story every night we were there.  12 out of 14 nights, the story was the same - "Cookie Monster and the Cookie Tree")

or take a nap,

or ride the lawn mower,

or go on a date to McDonald's and Toy Story 3,

or just hang out,

and get lots and lots of lovin!!!

And the number 1 reason Annabelle loves Arkansas so much.....Cousins, cousins, and more cousins!!!
